Here's the press that we've received:

Real Groove, May 2004

The evil bastard sons of inspired swamp rock, Doom Extravaganza have been grinding their way into the consciousness of the Auckland scene for the last year. Influenced by Black Sabbath, Mogwai, Electric Wizard, Kyuss, Johnny Cash, Joy Division, The Mark Of Cain and Danzig, their tunes incorporate a hypnotic groove and powerful walls of noise with volume to match. They head into the studio in late May to record a 5 track EP that promises to capture the chrome coated fuzz of the Doom Extravaganza live experience. With a healthy love affair of black metal and space rock, Doom Extravaganza revive the corpse of rock like Soundgarden did with their early recordings. Possessing a monstrous sound and high ambition, file Doom Extravaganza under - ones to watch.
